Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a taste of New Brunswick! 🍁☕ This Maple Irish Coffee recipe is the perfect way to raise a toast with the decadent flavours of our province.

Maple Irish Coffee

Ingredients:
1/2 cup NB heavy cream
2 Tbsp NB maple syrup
1 cup strong-brewed NB coffee
2 ounces NB whiskey or alcohol-free substitute

Instructions:
1. Lightly whip heavy cream until very soft peaks form.
2. Combine whiskey and maple syrup in a heat-safe glass.
3. Pour in the coffee and stir until the maple syrup is well combined.
4. Slowly pour the whipped cream over the coffee mixture.
Enjoy!

NB Maple Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp NB maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup NB whole milk, divided

Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, whisk cocoa, maple syrup, salt and 1/4 cup of milk over medium-low heat.
2. Add the remaining milk, whisking occasionally, until hot.
3. Serve and enjoy!

Start your day off right with a fluffy @fancypokket Everything Bagel, perfectly-cooked New Brunswick eggs, @ArmadaleFarmDairyProducts cheddar and handful of local microgreens.

Don't hit snooze - come give it a try! 🍳

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp butter, divided
2 large eggs
1 everything bagel, cut in half
1/4 cup microgreens
2 tablespoons cheddar, shredded

Instructions:

1. Place a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of the butter. Place the bagel halves cut sides down in the pan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat and spread the shredded cheese on the bottom bagel half. Set aside.
2. Melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter in the pan. Carefully crack the eggs into pan. When whites begin to set, puncture yolks. Immediately transfer eggs on top of the shredded cheese covered half of the bagel.
5. Top eggs with a 1/4 cup of NB microgreens.
6. Top with remaining bagel half and lightly press together. Slice the sandwich in half and serve!

New Brunswick acorn squash is a delicious and versatile vegetable that can be enjoyed in many dishes. But if you've never prepared it, you might wonder how to tackle this bumpy, hard-skinned squash. Here are some tips to help you cut acorn squash like a pro: 👇

1. Using a sharp knife, cut off the stem and bottom. This will give you a flat surface to work with, making it easier to slice the squash in half.
2. Place the squash on a cutting board, flat side down, and slice it in half lengthwise.
3. Once the squash is halved, use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and stringy bits from the center. You can discard these or save them to roast later (squash seeds are delicious!).
4. Slice or dice the squash into the desired shape for your recipe.

Whether you're roasting it, stuffing it, or adding it to a soup, now you have the perfect pieces of New Brunswick acorn squash to work with. Happy cooking! 🧡
