If you’re from New Brunswick, you know Chicken Bones as the iconic pink, cinnamon-flavoured candies with a rich chocolate center. 🍬❤️ But did you know they’ve been a local tradition since 1885, crafted by @GanongBros? Over 135 years later, these sweet treats are still handmade in St. Stephen, NB!

Thanks to a collaborative mindset, Pollipop delivers delicious New Brunswick flavours in each candy. 🍁

When co-owner Carina moved to New Brunswick, she quickly recognized the value of our natural resources. Visits to maple syrup producers and berry farms gave way to the idea of Pollipop.

Carina knew collaboration was vital: for the candies to taste like New Brunswick, the ingredients would have to come from New Brunswick.

With the help of a local supplier, Carina was able to achieve her goal. From maple syrup to wild blueberry and haskap juice to organic cranberry juice, the key ingredients used in the Pollilpop products come from New Brunswick.

@pollipop.ca is a sweet taste of home. ❤️

Traditionally a French-Acadian dish served at "réveillons", this classic recipe is downright delicious. The combination of New Brunswick lobster, Coldwater shrimp and scallops make this casserole a fantastic meal to share with loved ones.

🍎 With winter around the corner, there’s nothing like a steaming mug of hot apple cider! 🍏🥃 Made with Sweet Apple Cider from @vergerbelliveauorchard, its seasonal taste and aroma are perfection.

Ingredients:
4 cups Sweet Apple Cider
3 cinnamon sticks
1/4 tsp nutmeg, ground
3 cloves, whole

Instructions:
1. In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Stir and cover. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
2. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for an additional 25-30 minutes.
3. Pour cider into a mug through a fine-mesh sieve. Allow to cool slightly.
4. Serve and enjoy!

These small, oval berries offer a sweet-tart taste that resembles blackcurrants, blueberries, and raspberries. They're rich in antioxidants and vitamins and perfect for summer recipes like this delicious smoothie:

Ingredients:
✨ 1 cup yogurt, to taste
✨ 1 cup milk
✨ 1 cup frozen New Brunswick haskap berries
✨ 1 tablespoon Maple syrup or maple sugar

Instructions:
✨ Blend everything with a blender.
✨ Enjoy as a snack for school, work, or breakfast. This treat can also be frozen to make popsicles!
