If it features local New Brunswick produce or seafood, the New Brunswick Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries’ Local Food Fundraising Rebate Program offers a rebate of up to 50% of the local food purchased.

Haskap berries: the little fruit with big flavour! 😋

These small, oval berries offer a sweet-tart taste that resembles blackcurrants, blueberries, and raspberries. They're rich in antioxidants and vitamins and perfect for summer recipes like this delicious smoothie:

Ingredients:
✨ 1 cup yogurt, to taste
✨ 1 cup milk
✨ 1 cup frozen New Brunswick haskap berries
✨ 1 tablespoon Maple syrup or maple sugar

Instructions:
✨ Blend everything with a blender.
✨ Enjoy as a snack for school, work, or breakfast. This treat can also be frozen to make popsicles!
